NVP Synergy Study Series

The Northern Virginia Periodontics Synergy Study Series was the first study club run by our office, started by Dr. Gouldin in the late 1990’s. It’s intent was to provide comprehensive dental implant knowledge to restorative colleagues in partnership with Biomet 3i (now a Zimmer Biomet Company). Dr.’s Gouldin and Carlos have changed this club to a format that meets at least twice a year with the goal of bringing in renowned speakers to educate our dental colleagues and their staff on the most important dental topics of the day. The lectures are open to all in the Northern Virginia dental community who might be interested in the subject being addressed.

Dr. Steve GladisDr. Steve Gladis: The Coach-Approach to Leadership and Positive Leadership: The Game Changer at Work

The purpose of this series is to help leaders make things happen—take action by leading people, making team decisions, getting results, and sustaining performance. This full day presentation consists of lecture, demonstration, and hands-on exercises.

Dr. Leonard Tau: The Tao of 21st Century Marketing: How Practices Can Thrive In the New Economy

Social media has changed the way businesses market themselves. This course will focus on the various factors that influence online presence and help dental practices grow their digital footprint. Dr. Tau will share his first-hand experiences and the tools that he used to exponentially grown his practice using the power of the internet and online reputation while eliminating traditional marketing.

You will be introduced to the skills needed for authentic customer engagement. You will learn about the importance of personalized experiences that will surprise and delight your customers. This course will show you how memorable customer service can generate word-of-mouth and help you stand out from your competition.
